Hasbro and Paramount Home Entertainment have released the direct-to-video CGI animated feature film "G.I.JOE : VALOR
VS. VENOM".
DVD features include the 'Venomous Maximus' trading card, G.I. JOE trading card game guide, G.I. JOE
CD-ROM game, 'The Making of Valor Vs Venom', key character profiles, drawing board to film comparisons, 'Valor Vs Venom' music
video, 'Valor Vs Venom' trailer and a link to the official G.I. JOE website.
Premise of the movie focuses on the 'Cobra'
organization, where the world's most ferocious animals have been genetically combined with humans to create an army of 'venom
troopers', led by the hybrid 'Venomous Maximus'.
The G.I. Joe team are led by 'Duke' with 'Heavy Duty', 'Scarlett'
and 'Snake Eyes', all gathering to save humanity from the new COBRA threat.
Fans were first introduced to Duke and
the G.I. JOE team's battle to fight Cobra in 1982. Over the past twenty years, the characters have been featured in a Marvel
comic book series, animated TV programming, a feature film and an exclusive line of Hasbro toys, vehicles and trading
cards.
"G.I. JOE: VALOR VS. VENOM" is produced by Reel FX Creative Studios. Will Meugniot is executive producer.
